Caring for the house and the creek
House Rules
- No pets
- No smoking indoors. Designated outdoor smoking areas with receptacles are provided
- No parties or events
- Quiet hours 10:00 PM – 8:00 AM
- Visitors are welcome during the day. Maximum 8 overnight guests at all times.
- Guests must be 25 or older to book
- For the safety and security of the property, exterior Ring cameras and motion-activated lights monitor the outdoor areas and entry points. No cameras are located inside the home.
Creek & Outdoor Safety
- Tiger Creek is a natural waterway: rocks are slick and water levels change quickly
- Children must be supervised at all times near the creek
- Swim and wade at your own risk
- Never leave the fire pit unattended; fully extinguish before turning in
- Walk the grounds at night with caution. Terrain is uneven and rocky near the creek, and wildlife including spiders are common after dark.
Care of the Home
- Please remove muddy shoes at the doors
- Do not move furniture between rooms or floors without prior approval from the hosts
- Report any damage right away. Accidents happen.
- Recycling and trash instructions are posted in the kitchens

How many people can stay?
The house sleeps 8 across three bedrooms: a king master suite on the main floor, and a queen bedroom plus a family suite with a queen and twin bunks downstairs.
Is the retreat good for young children?
Yes. A high chair, booster seat and pack-n-play are available, and the family suite has reading lights at every bed. Tiger Creek runs the length of the property, so children need constant supervision outdoors.
Can I charge an electric vehicle?
A Level 2 EV charger is available — just let us know prior to arrival and we will get it set up for you.
Is there accessible access?
A chair lift is available by prior arrangement, and the home has wide doorways and a step-free entry option. Let us know your needs in advance so we can prepare.
Are pets allowed?
No pets, so we can keep the home comfortable for guests with allergies.
How far are groceries and restaurants?
Clayton is about 10 minutes away with grocery stores, restaurants and shops. Tiger Mountain Vineyards is only minutes from the driveway.
What is the cancellation policy?
